Newington - Dover Roundabouts

The Newington – Dover Project includes two roundabouts to improve transportation efficiency and safety.  The roundabout in Newington is proposed at the intersection of the Exit 3 southbound ramps and Woodbury Avenue.  This is a single lane roundabout that provides access to the Spaulding Turnpike, Pease International Tradeport, and the retail area within Newington via Woodbury Avenue. 

The Dover roundabout is proposed at the intersection of US Route 4, Spur Road, and Boston Harbour Road.  This is a two-lane hybrid roundabout that provides access for eastbound and westbound traffic along US Route 4 to and from the Spaulding Turnpike and local connectivity via Spur Road and Boston Harbour Road.
